Thank you Lagos… till we see again.
I came to Lagos in January 2015 as a corps member, with all my belongings fitting in one carry on travelling bag and a dead laptop that I had bought from my first NYSC allowance.
Today, I am leaving to settle in Ibadan for a short, remarkable while also. In my almost 6 years stay in Lagos, this city has been good to me. I successfully completed my NYSC and worked for two banks- Keystone Bank and Ecobank. Keystone sent me on an all expense paid assignment to Abuja for 3 days, Ecobank sent me to her group head office in Togo for six and half months.
In my time here, I sat and passed 2 levels of CIPM and level 1 of CFA. I have supported my brother to put one of my siblings through university and 2 others in university and college of health technology. I have two plots of land in Lagos now and some cash
I have made good friends, some have become family to me.
In all my stay here has a been a remarkable and successful time. My brother housed me the entire time and gave me room to achieve all that I have. I am eternally grateful.
I pray Ibadan would be better and filled with greater achievements.
